One Tank of Gas
Quietwater Beach became a family destination in 1931 when the mainland and Gulf Breeze bridges were opened. The water is calm and the water is shallow for 100 yards into the sound. The beachfront behind the bandshell is the main gathering place for swimmers on the soundsie of the Gulf.
