One Tank of Gas
Whispering Pines Christmas Tree Farm has several thousand trees ready to harvest for each season. The tree varieties are Virginia Pine, Florida Sand Pine, Cedar, and Leyland Cypress. Christmas trees are measured for height and graded for quality. There is a charge of $2 or $3 per foot for pines and cedars. Leyland Cypress trees are $4 per foot. Many people come out after Labor Day and mark their tree with a yellow ribbon and tag. Hundreds of children visit the farm on school field trips.

The view from the west tree lot looks back on the green pasture. The mature pines on the right of the frame can be seen as the tree line in the photograph above on the left of the upper tree line. -
Mr. Dean Schnoor is the proprietor of the Chrismas tree farm. -
Hundreds of school children visit the farm every year. -
