Perdido Key: Gothic HousePerdido Key is located west of Pensacola. It is a narrow peninsula extending approximately 20 miles to Orange Beach in Alabama. There are large undeveloped tracts along the Gulf of Mexico, such as, the beach front area where the Gothic Victorian house is located. The home was designed and built by the owners, Mr. & Mrs. O'Gwen King. Construction was completed in 1979. The design appeared in a Victorian woodworking book. The original home was built in New England at a cost of $1,350.00.
