Pensacola Beach: Escambia County Parking LotEscambia County owns and maintains the beach front between the Gulf Islands National Seashore preserves to the east and west of Pensacola Beach. There are seven boardwalks and parking lots located along the Gulf of Mexico from Fort Pickens on the west to the Santa Rosa Gulf Islands National Seashore to the east.
Escambia County and the Santa Rosa Island Authority have built eleven crossover boardwalks similar to the one shown above from Fort Pickens to the Santa Rosa Gulf Islands National Seashore park area. taken by Denise Daughtry
