Pensacola Beach: Casino BeachCasino Beach is the central public beach, directly adjacent to the fishing pier and across the street from Quietwater Beach Boardwalk. It is named for a casino which was built in 1931 and featured a dance pavilion, restaurant, bathhouses and shops. It was host to boxing matches and beauty contests. The casino was demolished in the late 1960's. (Source: Dunlap, Deborah & Tracey L. Martin. "Remember When...Volume Two." ISBN 1-929727-03-8.)
