Pace: Floridatown

Andrew Jackson was believed to have camped at Floridatown and crossed the bay here. Floridatown was an important town, for both the ferry crossing and for its entertainment and resort comlex. Now there are luxury homes built along the shores where the resort hotels formerly stood.
