Milton: Riverwalk

Built in 1987, this park replaced a series of dilapidated buildings and thus restored the waterfront to the pre-eminence it once had when the Chaffin Mill operated at the northern end of the park and the Milton Shipyared at the Southern terminus. The ferry ran from the foot of Berryhill Street until the first bridge was built in 1916. It was destroyed by a hurricane which flooded Willing Street in 1917.
