Gulf Islands National Seashore: Dunes: 9.2 Miles

The dune fence is located about 9.2 miles east of the traffic light at the beach ball water tower on Via de Luna Drive in the National Seashore. An additional landmark is the proximity to Parking lot 9/10. The purpose behind the installation of the fencing is to help restore and protect the sand dunes from erosion caused by natural elements.
